Unfortunately, the Dyson washing machine is not without criticism. Sure, it has a lot of good points but it also still has room for improvement. Some of the common criticisms about the CR01 Memory include:

• No “time left to finish” on display, although the display offers a lot of other information.

• Fabric conditioner compartment may be clog-free but its maximum level indicator is not easily seen. The word MAX is indeed printed on the compartment but it is the same color as everything else so it does not stand out well enough to be easily seen.

• This Dyson washing machine is such a joy to use because it operates so quietly. At least that is until it does contra-rotations, becoming noisier in the process. The noise level is not overpowering but it would certainly be better if it can be quieter. It is at least a good thing then that contra-rotations are not used the entire time of a wash cycle.

• It’s just too damn expensive. Its near impossible to have this top-notch machine without burning a hole through your wallet.

• For all its good points, this washing machine from Dyson was discontinued. Several modifications were done prior to that, so what was wrong exactly? At least those who have this washing machine can still have their washing machine serviced when needed although the model CR01 Memory was discontinued by Dyson already.
